Hello All!!
We are a USDA Certified Organic fruitery specializing in berries of all varieties. In the past year, we have expanded to include certified organic herbs and annual crops. Our goal is to continue to utilize permaculture and expand our sustainable practices. We are the only USDA Certified Organic Farm within 4 counties and as such enjoy a growing market of locals and businesses. We love to talk about smart growing practices and will be students of the dirt forever. We are looking for someone to join us beginning in January to help, explore, collaborate and expand our perennial crops, utilizing permaculture practices for what could be a long term opportunity. Plenty of available dirt to experiment with, test items and intellectually partner with our 25 years of growing experience. We are all about collaboration of approaches and ideas. Room/Board and depending on experience, % of profits. We will happily share additional photos, plans and details. Thanks~ Marianne

Hi Marianne. Where are you located. Your progress thus far is enlivening to hear about. And your offer is a wonderful one. I'm on a phone typing this so don't know all the grammar buttons...

Hey Gail,
We're in "southside" VA - about 1 hour SW of Richmond. We are you? So happy to see another Virginian!

Hi Logan,
I hear ya! We are not a community so unfortunately we cannot house a family. I wish you the best in your pursuit!

you are on the right forum. Planned communities usually list themselves as such. You may also want to google perma-planned communities. Good luck!
