Coweeta Heritage Center has volunteer (work/exchange) opportunities available beginning Jan. We are a school for Sustainable Living and working farm/homestead. We teach back to basic skills for more self-reliant living and we are off the grid (hydro right now). Lots of on-going projects to get involved with: solar panels, construction, gardening, permaculture projects, etc. Come join us in the fun and work. We are located in the Appalachian Mountains in North Carolina. We are year-round and currently looking for folks willing to make a longer term commitment. We will consider families as well. Our current volunteer needs a buddy or two. Must be motivated, responsible and willing to take on exciting work here! No experience needed. We will teach you all the basics! For more info you can contact us at coweeta@gmail.com.

Morning came much too soon and it brought along a friend named Margarita Hangover, and a tiny ad.
