Harold Bate had a simple compressor and ran his car on self bottled methane....long time ago.
As Iam yet to experiment si Iam interested to know if anyone has direct experience of this ACTUAL method.
Secondly it seems that enzymes are now available to enable eventual methane digestion of just about anything organic. What interests me is any info on Bates progress once he got to canada from the uk ? AND any old..even victorian methods for digesting woody fibres without boiling them ?
In a nutshell if they were running cars on poo all that time ago...me thinks its about time we were doing the same..but adding a few wood chips..cardboard..grass cuttings.....
