I'm wondering if I can build one of the rocket mass stoves that you've talked about in a sheep/ lambing barn. I have a few questions about depth of pipe, length of pipe, as well as other questions. These Questions might have been answered before, if you'd direct me to the right site, I'd be thankful.

glen gossman : Please consider going to Rocketstoves.com, to Download a PDF Copy $18 of the Brand New 3rd edition of Ianto Evans' Great book, '' Rocket Mass Heaters "

With Over 100,000 Rocket Mass Heaters RMHs World Wide, Most of them were made following '' The Book'', and 95% of all the 1st Time Builds (that Worked!)
were made ''from The Book'' !

You just need to learn a very little vocabulary so that when you come to these pages to Talk about the parts of YOUR Rocket that you are using the same words
to describe a Part/section and its Size, shape, and orientation to the other parts!

We have also had problems with ensuring that All 1st time RMHs are properly insulated, both to protect its immediate surroundings and to increase the efficiency and
Speed of coming up to maximum efficiencies !

You will need to understand Where we get the ratios of the depth of the feed tube, the length of the burn tunnel, and the Height of the Heat Riser (internal chimney)!
also were we get The Correct Constant Cross Sectional Areas of Your 6'' or 8'' system ,

The little bit of math required here all 5th grade stuff and is needed to prove to you that you do understand how your rocket works !

Please come back here often if there is a Rocket in your future we will help you find it ! for the Craft ! Big AL !
