We will be moving to our new 150 year old farm house in about a month. The septic is over 30 years old and basically shot. What are earth friendly options for replacing it (other than composting toilet)?

Howdy Armida, welcome to permies!

There are lots of different ideas under the composting toilet forum...not just composting toilets.
