I am not sure if any of you know about this already, but the Iron Game Chef competition started today. 1 theme, 4 'ingredients' and 9 days to create a playable tabletop roleplaying game. I thought people here might be especially interested since the theme and ingredients this year lend themselves well to permaculture concepts and might mean someone is going to do a permaculture based game! The theme is "There is no book", so of course this might result in a paperless or nearly paperless game. Two of the four ingredients are Wild and Sickle, both of which can easily be tied into concepts of harvest and productive land. I don't know if anyone on here besides me dabbles in game design, but if you do, it is certainly worth looking at. Even if not, I am hoping that someone manages to figure out a way to make a fun and playable game that touches on permaculture principles.
