How do you clean dandelion roots?

Hi everybody!

Well, i was wondering if there was a trick about cleaning dandelion roots prior to eating. As they are a real pain to clean usualy.

I don't eat them, I drink them. I wash them, chop them, grind them and dry them. Then I powder them. Kinda spreads out any residual detritus a bit.

I soak them in cold water for a bit, then rub them individually with my fingers while they're still soaking. I think soaking is easier than using running water, but it's still kind of labor intensive.
 
No matter how many women are assigned to the project, a pregnancy takes nine months. Much longer than this tiny ad:
