I think it is high time for a George Carlin thread . Taking the baton from Lenny Bruce he was able to expose the bare bones of our culture through dissecting our use of language . Hopefully his legacy will include millions of people who are not so easily manipulated by advertising and propaganda . Here is a long video of George giving a speech to the Press Club on C-Span in 1999 :

Excellent Wayne. I'm a big fan of Carlin. Is this thread open to "any" videos by Mr. Carlin? The reason why I ask is that many of his talks, interviews, performances are politically tinged. I would like to participate but don't want to break the rules.
