Cooking up some togo cassava!
I discovered I could rub the skin off with my fingers so no need to peel, only rub..... First time I have tried this variety

I am not familiar with Cassava so I looked for some threads to learn more about this plant:

It is grown thru out the world especially in Africa...

What I love about it is the cyanide  ;-)    you probably have eaten it without knowing it as it is used to make tapioca....

One must cook this plant to neutralize the cyanide in the plant then it becomes edible.

The good thing about the cyanide in the plant is the bug leave it alone so I don't have to spray anything on the plant to keep the bugs away...

I tested another variety of cassava, and it is not as bitter as the other Togo variety...    This is after 2 years of growth, it was enough to fill my insta pot.
