Propane lantern regulator...

Over the years ive ended up having a few regulators begin to make there way into my project/junk/get your but to work pile. These have been jumping out to me for some reason to find a way to upcycle them but I am having a hard time coming up with anything worth doing. I was thinking with some minor modifications I could see doing a propane fire pit set up but I already have a couple of those.  Any ideas would be much appreciated.  Thank you

I am not sure what these are so would you post a picture and how these work for a fire pit?
