Hello.  Although I have been lurking around the Permies site and forums for several years, I finally pulled the trigger and joined.

There is a universal subject that crosses all landscapes, political boundaries and orientations, and it has to do with relationships, which can be a minefield to navigate.

Although I have written and published other books, including one  about Succession Planning and Other Legal Issues for Family Farmers and Ranchers, I am currently working on a new book about relationships.  The subtitle is "Exploring Truth about the Meaning of Life, Love, Intimacy, Procreation, and the Faustian Bargain of Marriage."   In my fairly extensive experience and observation, these are subjects that essentially everyone seems to grapple with in one way or another, and I think it would be interesting to explore and discuss this subject matter in this space and with this crowd.

Have I missed a forum that already covers this space?  If not, would you be willing to consider adding a forum category for such discussions -- which I think might draw quite a bit of interest.

Thoughts?

Welcome.

Here is a bit about how we create new forums.

Basically, when there is enough to fill a forum, we can make one.

Here is the list of all the current forums

Welcome to Permies!

There are some adjacent forums like personal challenges and communication. I also have wondered about your idea though.

Normally we require at least fifty threads on the subject before we make a new forum—if you can gather them up and make a list then it probably could happen!

Thanks.  Good to know.  I'll do some looking.

This is awkward. I've grown a second evil head. I'm going to need a machete and a tiny ad ...
