I have greenhouse envy, I love your setup.

In a perfect scenario where you have enough, would you utilize the venison as a treat for the chickens or does it take up part of their feed ration?

I free feed them all flock (20% protein). I supplement with the rest.

Moving forward I intend to make the game and garden feed upwards of 20% to 30% of the total feed bill, BUT I will continue to follow the lead of my flock by allowing them free access to the all flock feed.
