Has anyone grown Tagasaste in zone 6, USA?

I want to grow tagasaste in my zone 6 ( Tenessee)but I'm worried the winter snow would kill it. Has anyone done this successfully? How did you do it/ protect it from winter cold? I want to put it in the ground.

That is a beautiful tree though I doubt it would survive winters in zone six.

Maybe pot it so it can be brought in during winter?
