I have pics/vids of my home build process. I am 69, retired and on social security only. I did all this by myself with no one to help out. So anyone can do the same.
link to one of my vids.

Hope this works.

Lots on innovation and skill on that reciprocal roof, I am impressed.  You are not too far from my friend Robin, he is near Spanish Fort. That area has a few slow moving rivers meandering toward the Gulf, prime camping spots around every bend, where a spin cast rod should stay handy in the canoe

Thanks for sharing your work.  And I can't sign off without  professing my respect for your county, birthplace of a legend I revere: Hank Williams Sr.
A true pioneer who left us too soon.

Great looking build! I really enjoyed leafing through the progress, and I'm inspired by your drive to step out of the norm and just get it all done yourself!

Still much to do but all in time as I am able. I am concentrating on getting food production ramp up them back to cobbing. Need to make compost, set up my self watering bucket garden which has worked great in my past living places. Also my organic hydroponics system.

I'll post my builds as able as long as I can find storage places for a link. Google said I was at 70 something percent full after I posted my home build.

Anthony
Keep us informed if possible, I reckon using Dropbox.com, Drive or other free storage would behoove your efforts.  Are you posting only from a phone? I am in that same boat.

You can also upload directly to Permies—as you are writing you post, go into the “attachments” tab and upload from there. They will show up for you.

I hope this helps!

Looks great!  What did you use to plaster the roof?

Nice work! I second the advice that you can upload pictures directly to Permies. Doing that will ensure that they are always visible; I have seen too many intriguing posts which have lost all their visuals because some free photo sharing site went out of business, or someone let their website lapse.

RE: Robert Neville ROOF
The original link should show my process. I used the "fly-screen/Portland/sand" system then coated all with Simco sealant. I wanted a clean nontoxic surface to collect rain which is my only source of water. I found two very minor leeks which I resealed and to date no leaks.

Great work sir
I never imagined anything besides uploading photos directly to Permies.  I merely wanted to offer an option for avoiding a phone rendered unusable,  one that has no storage remaining.  Using Google Drive, Dropbox, etc to store older videos or photos , for me, is just a strategy for long-term management

Apologies if I misspoke.  I think everyone here will post images directly to Permies.
