We have some plans to build hugelkulturs and do some road improvements.  A 30 ton excavator.

Right now, our truck, Judy, is off-line.  And we just got word that repairs would take longer than when we would need judy.  and be brutally expensive.  We are thinking that judy is now retired.  Probably.

We are exploring renting a 3/4 ton truck or maybe even a 1 ton truck.  So far, that isn't looking super great either.

For people that are here that week (boots, seppers, etc.) this could be a chance to get some time in the seat of an excavator.

I had the dates wrong.  I now updated the subject line to the correct dates.  April 27 to may 1.

Heya Paul -

Have a Friend in the "Area" (South of Miss. a bit, but "close enough to consider") Lemme chat with 'im / See what his thoughts are.. He's a Wildland / City Firefighter, so no 'stranger' to Heavy Equipment.

Will report back to Base, soon-ish. Cheers.
