Welcome, I'm super excited for some learning. I'm looking to get into the business in a few years myself. Thanks for taking the time to come out and spread some knowledge. If I don't win a book, I'll surely be buying one as soon as I finish Joel Salatin's, never can have too much info.

Welcome Julius. I have a close friend who sells grass-fed beef as part of his local and sustainable meat business here in Ontario. I'd like to learn more about raising (though on a very small scale to start) grass-fed cattle in Ontario, specifically during the winter. Where are you located?

Also, I'd like to get a resource (i.e. your book) for my friend. He is always looking for quality suppliers, but I want to help him know exactly what to look for from an exemplary farmer of grass-fed cattle. Thanks for coming out to the forums here at Permies.com
