Plant ID - Tickweed?

This plant looks so familiar, but I just can't identify it. Does anyone know?

It looks like that one with the little seeds that catch onto you later in the season. I'm not a big fan because the seeds are scratchy. Around here people call it tickweed.

I don't know tickweed. After some more research, I'm starting to think it is the toxic water hemlock.

I don't think it's toxic water hemlock. The flowers are yellow and small. Not an umbelliferae.

at first i thought it was elderberry, but then in the second picture it looks different. i dont think thats it.

i also dont think its tickseed either (coreopsis) with the sticky seeds, but i could be completely wrong cause i am not that familiar with those species.

well sorry thats wasnt very helpful, but just guessing at the name that plant game.
edit:
after looking up some pics just for curiosity sake, i think the OP could be right, it could very well be water hemlock.
