In the "Best this year", posts with 0 entries show up, but opening results in "Oops! The thread you are trying to view does not exist...".

I wonder if it was spam.  The best of list refreshes once or twice a day, so occasionally something gets removed, it takes a while to update.

Looks like someone is looking into this.

I am pretty sure it was spam. I saw this happen before. After the post was deleted it would still show up in the recent list.

when making a new post, it sometimes takes a very long time to load the scripts from https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/SyntaxHighlighter
I suggest hosting those on permies.com itself.
