So, I'm pretty much a newbie to growing ginger (this is my second go at it). I seem to be doing a bit better this year and even have what appears to be a flower developing. This didn't happen the first time around, so I'm taking it as a sign that I'm doing something right (I increased the temp & humidity and added some shade).
I'm wondering whether to leave the flower on or would I be better off removing it so the plant can focus its energy on the rhizomes (like removing scapes from garlic)?
Thanks in advance for any help.
