Hello, I have stumbled upon information about biochar and land restoration projects happening in India and some desert locations. Are there any efforts in Washington? I would love to get involved and learn how to do something to heal the world (literally).

I can connect you with volunteer opportunities doing habitat restoration at wildlife refuges in SW Washington.

You could even start on a small scale land healing of your own!

I have been testing Bio-char made with goose manure this year with stellar results. My best results have been with a mixture of around 30 percent wood chips 25 % soil and 45 % char. Some of my plants are literally 3x the times of the one I put in under the same light sans char.

If you find any great projects in WA please post them. I myself am pretty hell bent on healing the world.

I think char could work.

Edits: I changed 2x to 3x - and it is not an exaggeration. Actually. I think I have some Chia (a sativa) to demonstrate just this. I will try and bag a photo if'n you like.
