Need a tidy bin for your composting?

If so check this out. It's easy to build in whatever size you want. There is no need to have two bins just to get at the finished compost. Just disassemble it from the top down one piece at a time and start a fresh batch by putting the not-yet-compost into the new one. See the video for a better explanation.

Materials needed: lumber (re-purposed, scrap, salvaged or new), approximately 98 screws or nails.

Tools: saw, screwdriver or hammer

Thanks. I hope the idea is useful.

I encourage anyone who builds one of these to be more artistically creative than I.

I hope this can play a part in showcasing a more sustainable approach to management of the biosphere by moving the compost 'heap' from the back fences to the front yards of suburbia. How much better it would be to see grass clippings and fall leaves in a decorative bin than stuffed into plastic or paper bags and dropped at the curb.

I would be very appreciative if builders would post a picture of their work in this thread.
