Woahhhh Thom - that Tobacco hornworm made me think of the Hungry Hungry Caterpillar book!

Around here this summer,  we have had a very enthusiastic cohort of grasshoppers that click loudly when they take off flying, more aural than visual.  Sharing a picture of a bug that I did not take myself, but always makes me smile - this would maybe be a bug who teaches a fitness class after two cups of coffee?

Not sure why but preying mantises are the scariest bugs.
