Avacado brown leafs

I bought a avacado tree and the leafs are turning brown like its getting too much water which its not. Sandy soil and full sun. What should i do?

Sandy soil can trick you with that, it drains so fast the roots are dry again pretty quickly even after watering. Might be worth giving it a really deep soak and watching how new growth comes through. If it came straight from a nursery into full sun, could also be some scorch while it adjusts.

As suggested a good soak and maybe mulch the soil.

if that is your tree and the brown spots are like that, i'd say it's trauma. looks like the spots are right where the leaves were banging against the stem.
