I couldn't resist. Have to do something with surplus energy. So here it is, the Jargon Mistranslator--
chinquapins -- something you'd pin clothing together with. or maybe a bow and arrow.
polyculture -- a way of making excuses for being unfaithful to your culture of birth
Neem oil -- I have no idea, but it sounds dangerous
guilds -- little plant unions that organize to drive up wages, impede progress, and agitate for workplace safety for their members. A hold-over term from mediaeval times swhen plants would apprentice in their trade to a master plant who would make them do the jobs nobody else wanted to do for years until they got to learn the good stuff.
banana circle--when you make a banana smoothie and forget to wipe your mouth
neem oil: something you smear in the center of your forehead, where your third eye will appear after several applications - connected to the "observe, observe, observe" thing

Rocket Mass Heater -- it's got to be dangerous somehow. I'm picturing the back of Batman's vehicle in the 1980's Batman.
It actually is kinda useful to know what impression the words I'm using are likely to have on people, and sometimes it's better not to use the jargon. I could say "much more efficient wood stove that only gives off water vapor and CO2" to my community and they might have more clarity)
aquaponics -- I'm pretty sure this is the same as hydroponics, just using a Latin word instead of a Greek. Is that somehow supposed to make it different?
