My nails fall apart - what's a natural way to strengthen my finger (and toe) nails?

Another thought popped into my head today.  Not for the anemia & iron issue, but for weak breaking ragged nails.  There are protein powders here in the USA.  They make them out of any number of things… pea protein, whey, eggs, thin air if they could!  There is bone broth protein powder which seems to be dehydrated bone broth, and has a lot of collagen in it.  It’s just conjecture on my part that collagen will support healthy nail development.  I do know that some where soon after age forty our protein requirements increase.  I have to admit it doesn’t taste very good, so I use it in soup.😊

Chickens feet have lots of collagen as do pigs trotters.

Being Chinese, I have grown up eating both but I know that many westerners have difficulty eating both.

The chickens feet could be added to your soup stock, then discarded and the trotters braised and deboned so that they are no longer identifiable as trotters?

Chicken livers are delicious made into a pate or lightly sauted and would be another source or iron.
