Do take safety seriously when felling trees. I had a friend who was very experienced at felling trees who got a case of the  foolish machos.  He bought a chainsaw much too large and heavy for anything he was cutting. ….because bigger is better. Then he became determined to prove how much better it was .  He began cutting trees …very quickly….as in beginning on the second tree before the first hit the ground.  …..  eventually he was on tree four or so with the previous three trees still in motion.  One walked and came down across his neck.  He lived …on his back…in bed …in a nursing home…on a ventilator….with lots of tubes in him.  He was there for several years before he died.  You can’t undo dead.   Be careful.
