Robertson county here, although I frequent Kenton county.

41/m solo operation on ~ 30 acre property

Offering possible seed/plant and labor/equipment barter or paid services if any one has any development ideas around the area! I'm also open for just general philosophising/chatting about permaculture.

It can be a challenge to find local communicative people in this realm!

Hi, I just seen this old post and was wondering  after it being posted for many years how are things going with the prepper connection in the area.  I have 10 acres in NV but also 2 acres in Shepherdsville , and in the process of buying 6 acres with a creek  in Taylor county as of March 2024.  Not sure if or when I will get back to KY to develop or even see this property but my kids will inherited regardless.  I hope everyone   has their homestead going in a positive direction seeing as the world is pretty much falling apart which is why I became a prepper.

We are (39m, 36f with 5 kiddos ages 15 down to 5) in southern Nelson county on 21 acres. Moved here in August 2021. Looking to connect with like minded families. We've raised animals and still have a few but will be taking a break to travel to create a hoop for larger game hunting.  Lots of growing, foraging, wildharvesting, tanning (brain and bark), basketry....as we are working really towards living off the land.

We run the primal families gathering - a free very informal gathering with a focus on connection and some skills. Also having a women of the land gathering (also free).

Hope to connect with many folks soon!

I've got no option but to sell you all for scientific experiments. Or a tiny ad:
