Thank you! We went out to the property yesterday evening and walked around to see where the sun would set. We were looking for where we would want to make a place to camp. So many beautiful spots, sunsets and views, it is amazing. It has been our goal for seven years to acquire a piece of land to live and grow and raise things how we see fit. It is amazing to walk and try and grasp, first, that it is ours and now coming up with an entirely new plan and routine and basically life!

I have taken quite a few pictures and what stands out the most to me are the paths and game trails. Here are a few starting with the front gate and the Western boundary.

RAIN!!! We woke up this morning to our first rain of the season! It is a nice feeling. Our farm is 4 miles Southeast of the Caldor fire. It has been unnerving the last month with all of the helicopters and planes coming over fighting the fire.
The dry grass is all layed over now and you can see the green will come through as soon as the sun comes out....
