I just dropped the price of
the permaculture playing cards
for a wee bit.

uses include:
- infecting brains with permaculture
- convincing folks that you are not crazy
- gift giving obligations
- stocking stuffer
- gambling distraction
- an hour or two of reading
- find the needle
- find the 26 hidden names

I have always been enjoyed reading about the latest in alternative energy technologies (and now I'm lucky enough that it's part of my job).

So my question for all of you like-minded fans of alternative energies, what are your favorite websites and sources for learning about the latest and greatest technologies?

Thanks in advance

Might this be a good thread for me to mention the controversial e-cat?

e-catworld.com if you want to follow the day to day gossip

Cliff notes on the latest developments:

- Report published last month showing abundant heat production over a period of 32 days
http://www.sifferkoll.se/sifferkoll/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/LuganoReportSubmit.pdf

- Scientific community is very resistant to the idea in general; cold fusion has had a bad rep for 25 years.

- Inventor Rossi sold the intellectual property last year to Industrial Heat LLC

- He and the company are installing a 1mW generator for a secret client; should take another year before it's working 100%

- The invention is still very secretive because they haven't been able to successfully file a patent yet

- At least one group is trying to build a prototype based on the new information contained in the report

Fieldlines has a good discussion board for wind, solar, microhydro, etc. Smart bunch of people.

http://www.fieldlines.com/

It used to be crazy active in do-it-yourself wind--the best on the web. A number of states have more or less forbidden home built guyed towers, and that often kills the

homeowners ability to do wind energy for reasonable money.

Plus, now that PV has gotten so cheap, solar generally beats wind, though they still complement each other.

I susbscribed to homepower "magazine" for many years:

http://www.homepower.com/

One of the prepper forums has good info:

If you scroll down a bit, you'll see the solar, wind and other categories:

troy
