The short version is below. Geoff visits a Canadian urban garden above the 49th parallel. It often gets down to -40C and many vegetables do not fully ripen during the short growing season. Storing heat is critical for this garden. The short film version below shows the rocket mass heater in the greenhouse as well as dry-stacked rock walls in the garden that passively store heat, helping vegetables to ripen that ordinarily wouldn't.

I liked this one, living in Alaska it was especially relevant to me.

I'm glad they're putting new videos up regularly again.
