I finished my first combustion unit, and reread Ianto's section on dimentia et proportia. I think I'm off, so please let me know what y'all suggest.

Feed tube, 14" from base to top.
Burn tunnel, 27" end to end.
Heat riser, 32" from the top of the burn tunnel to the top of the brick on the heat riser.
Brick are 4"x9"x2.125".

A few questions:

1. Should I remove one layer from the feed and add it to the heat riser?

2. Should I shorten the burn tunnel somehow?

Thanks!

Adam
