I have never heard of them, which makes me nervous. You could check the Better Business Bureau, yelp, or google reviews.

I ordered a variety of tree and shrub seedlings in the spring of 2013 and so far most are still living and some have thrived despite a harsh previous winter. Plus they had excellent customer service. I'd recommend them.

Thanks, I had good experience communicating with them, quick replies (this time of year anyways).

Just checked on Daves Garden website and they have a pretty good review. Last time I checked there about a nursery the rating was pretty bang on. Anybody checked Dave's garden before?

I like the Dave's garden watchdog. They usually have a range of opinions.

I recently ordered some Sugar Maples from Cold Stream. I was worried about delivery time so I inquired if the could have them shipped to me by the time the PDC students would be on the farm for their practicum. Delivered as promised. Excellent rating in the delivery department. While planting we noticed that we were short a seedling. I contacted Cold Stream and they promptly shipped out a replacement, no questions asked. Excellent rating in the customer service department. All the seedlings arrived in great condition. Shipped like many other seedlings/tress I have ordered from other nurseries. I like to have several places to order from. Not every nursery has what I am looking for when I need it. I will order from Cold Stream again.

Hi Adrien, how was the experience ordering from them? An acquaintance  recommended them to me but I've never heard of them before

I hope you didn't order from Cold Stream Farms. I just did - 25 Black Spruce. Arrived with tops brown, dry, needles off. A week later, I have bare trees. I contacted the company - they said - Make sure you are watering them. It's not my first tree planting - the product was not good at delivery - they have NO warranty/ on trees I ordered 2-3'. I learned my lesson - never again!
