Just a point to consider and perhaps something good you might do as well

I have been making kombucha for a while now, and a had several extra scobys the other day (ASIDE from the few that I keep in the pantry in the scoby hotel) so I decided to toss them in with the worms.

I came back today to the worms and lifted up the scobys and it was completely underlain with worms. I mean, they formed a carpet with no soil visible under the scoby there were so many worms directly under it. I saw a LOT more worm activity in the whole bin as well (up on top of soil and moving around). They were obviously loving it.

We've also seen the same thing, the worms seem to love the scobys that we throw in.
