I dont really have a lawn right now, its more like a garden of dandelions.  Is it okay that I just mow them like I would grass or should I do something about them?

Do the dandelions have tender step or a tough stem?

What interesting knowledge do you have related to the stem tenderness?  You've piqued my interest!

I have seen people point at hawkweed and say "dandelion".  So the first thing to figure out is whether we are talking about dandelions or hawkweed.

Paul's podcast on lawn care has advice on managing your lawn to reduce hawkweed.
