I have heard of
-stewards
-volunteers
-pollinators
-authors
, and I think I understand what those do.

But in a few threads I have come across somebody called "The navigator."

Please may someone explain to me what "the navigator" does?

The navigator is Eivind who was, well, the navigator when Paul and Jocelyn went on their symphonies in seeds and soil tour. Here is one of the podcast about the tour.
