Hi everybody
My name is Ulysse and I'm a student in Montréal. I'm initially from France but I moved to Canada to study in Bioresource Engineering at McGill University.

I've been raised in a permaculture mindset even though it was not labeled like that. After moving to Montréal, I met with the Permaculture community and felt connected to it.
I participated in an introductory class last winter given by 8 different permaculturists who each had their own view of permaculture. This winter, I'm taking a PDC with Graham Calder (http://www.p3permaculture.ca).

As an engineering student, I'm always surprised by how the world of engineers would benefits from the concepts of Permaculture. I'm right now working on a research paper aiming at introducing the permaculture principles to engineers for them to apply them in their designs. I will be posting a topic about that soon to get the feelings of the community, to learn about what has been done, what can be improved, etc...

I hope to get a lot of idea from this forum, as well as meeting people from all over the world

Joy and Happiness,
Ulysse

Welcome to permies Ulysse! I look forward to hearing about your research paper! After I graduate high school, I plan to major in Biochemistry and hopefully get a minor in Biotechnology, too.
