Hi All!

I'm struggling to find PC projects in North Africa states like Tunisia, Algeria and so on.. it seems many of the projects are going on in more green countries and I'd like to help out in more arid enviorments...where is the greening the desert people?
Anybody willing to start anything next winter?

cheers
Roby

Hi,
I guess you know about permaculture project of Geoff Lawton Greening the desert in Jordan or the permaculture farm in Palestine, this is arid but middle-east, not north africa. I know that there is permaculture projects in Marocco and Egypt, and we started one 2 months ago in Tunisia. You can find info about our project in http://permaground.wordpress.com/ and http://permaground.wikispaces.com/Ras+jebel, still young but ambitious. Can I ask you why are you looking for north african projects ?

Hi roby
did you find something?

North Africa goes more west... I am in the Canary, not a desert,
but I do quite an arid environment project here,
we've just had a 15 months drought, and it is not finished...
No winter rain season, followed by the hottest summer for years.
