    Does anyone here know what rules, or laws apply to using state and county public lands?

    I'm thinking that a lot of great things could happen if this land could be used by people to grow some food and general productive land stewarding.  Instead of being clear-cut for the "health" of the forest or whatever.

    I recall once hearing that you can live on public land for two weeks until you have to re-locate.  Does anyone have any experience with using public lands?

pot growers tend to use state land fairly extensively in our area..
