yellow and with little grain-like spots (like the size of a seed of buckwheat) in one of them. they seem to fall apart a bit more easily than a normal liver, but I haven't been super-scientific about it and subjected them to sheer test. I am not an engineer. I don't actually know what a sheer test, I just said that to sound smart.

I've read contradictory info on various sites. They were not drinking alcohol, to be sure, but could it be jaundiced from other causes, or just not that healthy if not technically jaundiced?

Also, they were of unknown feed and I'm not sure what they were fed when we had them, could have been ones that had a lot of kitchen scraps and some hay or could be ones that were there before the kitchen was open for the season, I have no way of finding out. They're not factory chickens, but from out in rural NY.

Thanks geniuses!
