I was curious if you have any openings for gappers? I'm good with building things and I'm sure that you can find me useful. I have been on here a lot but I haven't made an account until now. I can answer any questions you have

I have the funds to come up there myself and I can help another prospective gapper if they need

We can take lots more gappers.

There are oodles of projects going on right now. There are five ants now, and I think all of them would appreciate gapper help.

Howdee Hjalmar!

You might want to check out this thread, where an Ant (Jesse) is putting the call out for some gappers to help out with the Allerton Abbey wofati project. https://permies.com/t/48900/labs/Allerton-Abbey-Cob-Straw-Work

You can read all about the project going-ons on the "first wofati- Allerton Abbey" thread for more info, which you can find on the Wheaton laboratories message board.

Essentially, if you want to come out and dedicate some quality hours to the project, you can take residence on Jesse's plot, and he'll waive the $100 gapper fee. You'll also be living in Ant Village, where all kinds of cool projects are being birthed, not to mention the exceptional human beings who live here and love to talk permaculture nearly all of the time.

If at any time you want to drop out of the wofati project, I would imagine you could then pay the gapper fee and move to base camp and do whatever kind of projects that float your boat there.

Either way, I'd send Jesse Grimes a purple moosage.

Hope to see you out here!
