Wouldn't you know it....I'm going to be working all four of those days! Don't know which way you are heading, but if you're coming back through Lewiston on the 16th and wouldn't mind taking a detour up to the Camas Prairie (about 45 mi S), I would love to have you guys (and anyone in the area of Ferdinand, ID.) out for a lunch or something. A fair bit of beyond organic food, working our way to getting it all that way! I know you are busy, so don't feel like you have to reply, but if you want to whip by give me a few days heads up. Sorry I can't get together with the Permies out on the lake, but The Man just won't allow it!!!

We are going to be going back to missoula on the 16th - and we will be going through lewiston.

I don't know where "camas prarie" is - is it on the road from enterprise?

The Camas Prairie is South 0f Lewiston along hwy 95. Instead of taking hwy 12 along the Clearwater river you would cross the river and head towards Lapwai and beyond. It would be a bit of a detour, but you could get back on hwy 12 around Kamiah. It would probably add an hour to the trip, plus time eating etc. If you were routing through Lewiston and heading North to hit I90 it's definitely way out of the way!

Tell you what, if there are 20 or more permies confirmed (before the 12th) to meet there, I will make the detour.

Sounds reasonable to me. Well does anybody want to meet up in North-Central Idaho for a little meet & greet with Paul at my place?

I will be at the Wallowa Mountain Rendezvous Sept. 11-13 and would stay over for a get-together if enough folk commit to make it happen. (Its a Square Dance Rendezvous - not mountain man - wouldn't want to mislead anybody!)
