I recently purchased a 4.5 acre mini farm with residence near the end of Rice Lake, Ontario. Unfortunately, my ex changed her mind and went back to the city. So here I am, looking for the right woman to share my goals and successes with. I worked in constructions most of my life, but I am kind of a handyman, good at everything. I can build a house from the ground up, I can fix engines, computers, automate a greenhouse. I used to be passionate about robotics but now I'm more about beekeeping, aquaponics and permaculture. I want to get to the point where I can live off of what I can produce on my property and stop working in the city in the winter time. I have 65 bee hives going on to about 120 production hives and about 50-10 nucs. There are 10 direct products that we can get from the hives and ALL are extremely good for our health. Then there are lots of secondary products, so a stream of income can be assured. I'm about 2 years to become established, then I can work in the warm season and travel South in the cold season. The property has a 3 bedroom house with a separate basement apartment with walkout, a 2 car garage, a barn, a dug well and septic. The only bill is the electricity, because I can't cut the cord until the mortgage is paid off. I started a vegetable garden, I am working on a greenhouse, I planted a few fruit trees and I have a few chickens. The land was used for pasture for goats, donkeys, cows before I got the property, so it is pretty much wild flower right now. There are a few trees, but it is definitely not wooded.
I am a reliable, honest and trustworthy man, caring, non-violent, open minded, with a relaxed attitude. I am Christian Orthodox by birth, but I am more open about religion. I tend to be more traditional than most modern guys. Non smoker and rarely drinker, non drugs user. I grew up showing respect to everybody else around me and it bugs me that I don't see that anymore. I believe that respect and love are the base of a strong relationship. And communication. I am definitely not a mind reader and I don't expect you to be one. I enjoy the nature and I wish to build a paradise for my family. I have been married twice and I have 4 wonderful kids, 2 that are older and live in Europe and 2 smaller girls that I stay with me some weekends and school breaks. I don't really want to make more kids, but I am ready to embrace your kids if you have them.
I am looking for a traditional family oriented woman, that loves nature and is not afraid of challenges. One that loves gardening, growing food, canning and good with animals. 30-45, thin to average, brunette if possible (black straight hair is my fave). I do not care about your past, it's the future together that interests me. If you become my friend, respect me as I will respect you, I believe love will come and we have a great chance to be happy together. Let me know if you are interested.
