Has anyone used a seed pillow? I'm wanting to make one for someone, but I have a few questions:

Does it make lots of noise?

What seed did you use? Buckwheat? Hemp? Other?

I love the idea of adding dried lavender, but would it just break down into dust overtime?

How long do the seeds last? Can I just put them in the sun to sort of recharge them?

What pillow case did you use?

Thanks!!

Have a commercial buckwheat hull pillow. It does make some noise.

As a teen tried making a cattail fuzz pillow. It rapidly packs together till the pillow is slightly softer than a brick.

This is an interesting idea. Perhaps mixing seed with down and cattail fluff would be effective. I've made a small dream pillow with a number of fragrant herbs in cotton cloth. Doubling the fabric might help reduce any amounts of plant dusts getting through.

I knew that guy would be trouble! Thanks tiny ad!
