The thing I have against this reclaimed wood fad is that it seems to be about taking some old boards and throwing it together in some sort of "rustic charm"
I have maple, oak and birch I my shed that came from pallets. I took the pallets apart, removed all the nails and used planer and sander to clean up the boards. You couldn't find better hardwood in the furniture lumber supply store! This "reclaimed wood" movement should have shown that this wood and the products made with it can be as beautiful as anything from freshly cut lumber.
