While at an agricultural fair I watched a border collie herding demonstration. The handler said that border collies are the smartest dog and not shown in AKC events as they are true working dogs and only bread for intelligence and not for the ideal form and color.

Imagine an IC of (genetically)clean, healthy and intelligent people.

I would be happy to either be one of the working sterilized or an elite breeder. Eugenics is not a bad word.

We have a border collie mix who is extremely intelligent but not fixated on herding.

Being a mix is a good thing!
