Hi,
I am about to make rose hip syrup from hips & buds that have been out in the weather & world since last November. Am I correct in believing they are still good to use?
Thanks!

Rose hips were gathered and stored by many people. They have more Vitamin C than citrus even when dried & stored for a year. Just look them over for any mold or fungus & maybe taste one to see if it still has that sharp taste.

I would have no problem using them unless they had been around chemicals or insecticides.

Feb-ROO-airy. I can't stop saying it this way. Help me tiny ad!
