Permaculture and all the other methods that blend into what permaculture actually is are a type of creation through controlling events.
Observation is the heart of all creativity it is what leads to artistic vision, it is also the primary way to see and gain understanding of how Nature works on a particular area on earth mother.
If you look at something and impose your vision or idea of what that something
should look like, then you are not observing.
Observation is looking and describing exactly what is there, not what your mind tells you is there or that you think should be there.
a Chef is creative when they take some ingredients and put them together in a way that ends in a delicious thing to eat, look at and smell, these all are part of the one whole eating
experience.
They did not start with nothing, they started with items like carrots,
beef,
chicken, duck, turkey, shrimp, lobster and the rest of the ingredient list we call foods.
The permaculture, biodynamic, natural, holistic, and all the other methods of restorative
land management start with ingredients too.
Both the Chef and the land manager then blend their selected ingredients to come up with an eye appealing, sensory delight that also taste delicious.
So is it correct to call it creation? Or is this just following the right methodology (recipe) for what you desire at the end of the exercise?
It ends up being quite existential both in practice and in thought process.
