In the back of my shop, there is a 2500 watt generator with a blown motor. My boss said I could have it. Could this be used as a 12volt wind turbine (with proper regulation or are the RPMs needed to make a generator core too high for this idea to work? Worse comes to worse, I'll chuck a Harbor Frieght motor on it. Thanks...Larry

Thank you for taking the time to reply. My luck has been good on this project. But a did have a feeling that this was a no go. I'll size the old motor and pick one up. Gonna need a generator for final assembly anyhow. You will be hearing a lot more from me coming up. My prefab/ kit cabin is done, I'm in the process of rearranging my shop for wind, solarwater and power and RMH builds. Thank you Larry
