We are a mature couple(mid 30s/40s) with strong backs and a desire to find the perfect situation. We have 30 plus years combined gardening,homesteading/direct marketing experience. We are seeking a tiny home,garage/tent or camper in a warmer climate. We get along very well with others amd follow instructions very well. We have a little permaculture experience. Lots of animal husbandry, gardening, cheesemaking, and direct marketing experience. We have no children but we do have a couple well behaved dogs. We occasionally drink and smoke. We are quiet and our needs are simple.
If anyone out there in Permies land has a situation they might think we would be a good fit in please email us

Hey there, It depends on what you consider to be a "warmer climate," but my husband and I are looking at parcels of undeveloped land in the foothills of Mount Hood, Oregon.  Climate is moderate but wet - there could be snow, usually not much at about 1000 feet, but of course lots more up on the mountain.

Once we buy land, we'll be looking for people interested in developing it, ideally with grazing animals, plant production, etc.  We are looking at land less than an hour from Portland, Oregon, so we plan to be visiting often, maybe setting up a yurt for weekend stays, but we are both working (have two kids in school) and can't devote ourselves to a full homestead.

Thank you! Yes! Oregon is exactly where we were looking. Do you want to call me and talk?

I'm at work so I can't talk now, but yes, we should talk.  Did you do goats or cows for the cheesemaking?

I'm seeking land in rural TN to setup a homestead myself, I've been networking to split larger tracts of land or find value-added ways of bringing people who want to live there and have some space to help pay for the mortgage and expenses. We have a group discussion on FB going on about where and when.

I agree. Here's the link: http://stoves2.com
