Hello everyone,
I've lurked this forum for a while now, but honestly the content is so overwhelmingly much that I never felt like my comments would have add much.
Now here I am though, to be part of the community!
I am from Italy, but am travelling to visit some permaculture sites in Asia right now

I would also have a permaculture-related question that I guess I'll just put in projects.

Thanks for the great forum and have a nice day

Welcome to permies.com.  It is great to have you with us.

Permies has so much to offer that I understand being a little overwhelmed.  I would suggest going ahead and make those comments, even if it is just to say "I agree".  This is a very friendly forum and I am sure you will find commenting worthwhile.  I like the "Zero Replies" that you will find at the top of the screen. Usually someone is announcing something, but many times I find someone has asked a question and no one has replied.  I don't always know the answer but I will comment and say "Maybe someone with more experience will comment or answer your question."

Here is a post from Claudio in Southern Italy:

With a search of the word "Italy" or "Italian" you might find others in your country.

Hi Manu, and Welcome to Asia! if you're in India, especially after the coldest part of winter, you might like to visit our school up in Ladakh. www.secmol.org, or our new website is temporarily at www.secmol.com

Welcome to permies, Manu!

I hopefully you'll enjoy the site and the metric tons of information available. In my signature line are links to some helpful information for newcomer and veteran alike.

Anne Miller, thank you for your warm welcome.

Thank you for your kind offer! Right now I'm in the south of India, but next time I pass by I'll try to get there, maybe in more warm times of the year.
I've just seen a documentary yesterday about the architecture of some schools near Ladakh. The images of the place were breath-taking.
